Professional Internship Program
Work alongside leaders in your field and gain paid, hands-on experience through MPI’s Professional Internship Program, designed for recent or up-coming graduates ready to apply their post-secondary education in the workplace.
As a Professional Intern, you’ll build meaningful, real-world experience that helps bridge the gap between graduation and your career. We’ll provide the training, tools, and support you need to succeed in a respectful, inclusive workplace.
Eligibility
To qualify, you must:
- Have recently graduated or are about to graduate from a minimum two-year program at a recognized university or college in Manitoba.
- Have completed your program in a field relevant to a career at Manitoba Public Insurance.
- Be ready to begin a full-time professional internship following graduation.

Summer Student Program
- Community Relations Assistant
Eligibility
To qualify, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Live in Manitoba for the full duration of your work term.
- Be enrolled in full-time studies before and after the work term. (If you require a co-op term to graduate, you are still eligible.)
Co-op and Work Practicum Programs
MPI supports co-operative education programs by offering paid and unpaid work terms directly related to your field of study. These programs allow you to alternate academic studies with practical work experience, helping you develop skills and prepare for your future career.
