With the Winter Tire Program, eligible Manitobans can finance up to $2,000 per vehicle at prime + 2% interest. Spread your payments over one to four years with convenient monthly withdrawals.
Who qualifies?
You may be eligible if you:
- Are a Manitoba Public Insurance customer (individual, not corporate)
- Own a passenger vehicle or light truck registered in your name
- Have no outstanding MPI payments or restrictions

How to identify approved winter tires

All tires displaying the mountain and snowflake symbol are approved for the Winter Tire Program.

How it works
- Visit a participating retailer and choose your tires.
- Bring your driver’s licence and vehicle registration.
- Your retailer will confirm eligibility and complete the loan setup.
Payments are automatic and withdrawn monthly from your bank account. Snow fuss, snow stress!
