Who, Where, and When One Can Bid
Bidders must be 18 or older. Photo ID may be required.
Bidders must be registered for the auction and have a bidding number. This requires a $400 deposit by cash, VISA, MasterCard or debit card.
Bidding takes place at 1981 Plessis Road in Winnipeg, each Wednesday at 10 a.m. Phone 204-985-7844.

Preparing for the Auction
- Examine the vehicle or other salvage item beforehand, to make sure it's what you want. You can view salvage on auction days--which are Wednesdays in Winnipeg-- from 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Register for the auction and get a bidding number. A $400 deposit by cash, MasterCard, VISA or debit card is required--refunded to you if you don't buy anything. Manitoba Public Insurance keeps the deposit if a bidder cancels a purchase or doesn't meet payment requirements.
- Give us written authorization beforehand, if you're a permanent bidder, and you wish another bidder to replace you at the auction.
