Safety on Wheels presentations

These travelling presentations, offered throughout Manitoba, are an active way to educate audiences of all ages about road safety issues.

Safety on Wheels presentations are offered from May 8 to August 23, 2017. Bookings are available, beginning on April 3, 2017.

There is no charge for Safety on Wheels presentations.

Choose from these activities

Cycle Safely Bike Rodeo provides a fun, early riding lesson for young children. Youngsters are instructed on the rules of the road, traffic signs and bicycle helmets, followed by riding skills exercises. More info.

Children from ages four to seven can experience real driving with Mini Car Town and learn safe manners by driving electric cars through a town streetscape with traffic signs, lights and pedestrian and railway crossings. More info.

Drinking, Driving and Fatal Vision simulates impaired vision from intoxication and tests hand-eye coordination with a series of fun tests through an obstacle course navigated on foot or by pedal car. Participants are frustrated quickly in their attempts. More info.

DRIVR-X – Choose Your Reality is a virtual reality experience that demonstrates the power of choices in a fun, interactive story focused on critical road safety issues for young drivers in Manitoba. More info.

  • Only one presentation per request is provided.
  • Requests should be submitted at least six weeks before the event.
  • Your preferred date may be filled so please include an alternative booking date if possible.
