Safety gear is a must
Wearing proper safety gear can reduce injuries if you are involved in a collision.
Helmets
- approved by CSA/SNELL/DOT
Eye protection
- goggles or clear face shields designed for your helmet
Protective clothing
- leather is preferred with denim or heavy (ballistic) nylon as acceptable alternatives
- clothing should fit snugly, with no hanging flaps or laces, and should allow sufficient movement to operate the controls
- clothing should be warm and ventilated
Boots
- leather is preferred
- must cover at least your ankle for protection
- low heels help to prevent slippage from the footpegs
