Downloading Images
These files range between 1.3 and 2.9 Mb - approximate download time on 56k modem 5 to 10 minutes.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Position the cursor over the thumbnail image and right-click the mouse.
- Select Save Target As., and specify the folder, filename and file type (.tif) as directed. (Note: Do not left-click on the image. This will only allow you to save the icon, not the full-size image).
- The file will be stored on your hard drive and ready to be opened in a graphic application such as Adobe PhotoShop and available for placement in your document file.
Netscape
- Position the cursor over the image.
- Windows users, click the right mouse button.
- Mac users, hold down the mouse button for about 1 second until a pop-up menu screen displays.
- Choose Save
this Image as... (or similar statement, to save the image) from the menu
and supply a name in the dialog box that appears.
