Manitoba Public Insurance Customer Service During the Holidays

During the holiday season, Manitoba Public Insurance will be open on the following days:

•The Manitoba Public Insurance Call Centre (985-7000 in Winnipeg and 1-800-665-2410 outside of Winnipeg) for reporting claims and customer enquiries:

December 24th 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.
December 25th CLOSED
December 26th 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
December 27th 8:30 a.m. - 4 pm
December 28-29th 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
December 31st 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
January 1st CLOSED
January 2nd 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.

All Manitoba Public Insurance offices and claim centres will be closing at 1 p.m. on Dec. 24. Manitoba Public Insurance offices and claim centres will be closed Dec. 25-26, 2003 and Jan. 1, 2004. Customers are reminded that Autopac renewals are due on the expiry date stated on their renewal forms. During the holiday season, it’s recommended that customers call their Autopac agent for details on business hours.

Customers should also know if a renewal date falls on a day when Autopac outlets are closed, it’s the customer’s responsibility to renew before that day – failing to do so means the person would be driving without registration and insurance.

Customers on the time payment plan, whose time payment due date falls on a statutory holiday, must pay their time payment no later than the next business day or they will face a $20 late fee.
