Choose to be a role model for others

A resolution is a commitment to reform a habit or create a lifestyle change. Make your commitment this year to drive safely. Your decision will help set an example for others and ensure your loved ones arrive safe and sound at their destinations.

Turn bad habits into good habits:

Drive Safely

Drive at or below the speed limit: Driving the speed limit saves you money, reduces your personal carbon footprint and could save a life. When conditions aren’t ideal, reduce your speed and stay in control.

Designate the driver: Plan ahead to have a designated driver if you’re out on the town. Don’t take the chance that one bad decision could change your life forever.

On the road? Off the phone: Don’t let texting, dialing or talking on your handheld phone get in the way of safety.

Keep your distance: Give yourself at least four seconds to see, react to, and stop for unexpected circumstances.

‘Tis the season to make a change. Make your resolution to drive safely in 2010 and always.
