Drive safe this holiday weekend
On average, two people are killed
and more than 100 are injured
every Labour Day weekend.
Help reduce your risk on the road:
- Buckle up.
- Don't drive impaired – choose a designated, sober driver or make arrangements to stay over and not drive.
- Be patient – heavier traffic means your trip may take longer.
- Don’t drive when you’re tired – fatigue can lead to poor driving decisions.
- Don't speed – plan an appropriate amount of travel time.
Manitoba law enforcement agencies will be out this weekend helping to keep our roads safe. Extra road stops will be set up throughout the province checking for impaired drivers.
