You've probably seen wildlife signs. Deer, moose and elk are abundant in Manitoba, even in urban areas.  Autumn is the peak time for wildlife collisions and there are a few things we can do to lessen our chances of being involved in a collision with an animal:

If you encounter an injured animal, don't approach it--an injured animal could further harm itself or be a danger to you.  Instead, call the police.
