Get home safe from grad

On average, 41 Manitobans are killed every year in alcohol-related collisions. And drivers between the ages of 16 to 24 are the most at risk of being involved in an alcohol-related crash.

The safest way to celebrate your grad is to attend your high school's SafeGrad. The ride is free and the planning is done for you.

If your school does not have an official SafeGrad, you can still get home safe by having a designated driver or calling a taxi. It is always best toleave your car at home so you are not tempted to drive after you have been drinking.

Remember, impaired driving is a crime. If you are convicted under the Criminal Code of Canada, there are serious consequences. A first conviction carries these penalties:
