Keep safe driving in sight
Soon, with Daylight Saving Time ending, you’re more likely to be driving when it’s harder to see – especially at sunrise, sunset, and in low light.
Avoid being dazzled
When the sun is peeking over the horizon at dawn or dusk, it can blind you momentarily. Try to avoid looking directly into it, use your sun visor and wear good sunglasses.
Light your way – even in the day
Shorter days mean more driving in the dark. By law, you must have your headlights on a half-hour before sunset and after sunrise. But it’s best to keep your headlights on even in daylight because they’ll help others see you.
