Don't drive drugged

When you think of impaired driving you may only consider alcohol but the reality is that over-the-counter or prescription drugs can also impair your driving ability. If you are found driving while impaired by over-the-counter or prescription drugs, the penalties are just as stiff as when driving under the influence of alcohol.

To avoid driving while impaired:

If you are beginning to doubt your driving ability, talk to your family or doctor about your concerns. Remember, it's up to you to make sure that your medications don't impair your driving ability.
