For a safe ride home, call Operation Red Nose
The holiday season is upon us and that often means nights out with friends and family. If you've been drinking, keep yourself and others safe by calling your local Operation Red Nose.
Here's how Operation Red Nose works:
- Every Friday and Saturday night between Friday Nov. 25 and Dec. 31, you can call the Operation Red Nose number in your area between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m.
- When you call, volunteers pick you, your passengers and your vehicle up.
- The volunteers then drive you home in your vehicle so that you arrive home safely without worrying how you will pick up your vehicle the next day.
Operation Red Nose is made possible in part by Manitoba Public Insurance, Safety Services Manitoba and the hundreds of volunteers who want to make sure Manitobans get home safe during the holidays. The service is free but donations are gratefully accepted to support community and sport programs in the province
