There are plenty of good reasons not to drive after you've been drinking. The most important one-you could lose your life or take someone else's. Here are a few more reasons to stay sober behind the wheel.

If you've been drinking, you are less likely to make a logical decision on your ability to drive home.
That's why it's important to make a plan not to drive at all if your evening out includes booze. Book a taxi ahead of time or arrange for a designated driver. You could also stay overnight or plan for a friend or family member to pick you up. Because there are no excuses for impaired driving.
