Classroom > In-Class Training
The Classroom curriculum consists of 34 hours of instruction, covering the following topics:

Students are required to achieve a minimum 70 per cent classroom average to successfully complete the in-class portion of Driver Education. This average is derived from the following:
- Two classroom tests – each worth 35 per cent.
- Classroom assignments and groups activities – worth 20 per cent.
- Student participation – worth 10 per cent.
- Students are required to satisfactorily complete all classroom tests, projects and assignments.
Class 5 Learner’s Licence Knowledge Test
Students have one opportunity to write the Class 5 Learner’s Licence Knowledge Test in their Driver Education classroom.
Knowledge Test dates for fall courses offered in rural Manitoba schools are subject to change.
