You must be at least 15½ years of age to qualify for a learner’s permit under this program. You can sign up for Driver Education courses in two easy steps:
- View a list of available courses here.
- Go to your nearest Autopac agent to get set up as a customer, register and pay for your chosen course.
Parental consent
To enrol, your parent or guardian must go with you to the Autopac agent or must sign a Parental Consent Form if he or she is unable to attend. You can download the form here or pick one up at your nearest Autopac agent.
Identification requirements
All new applicants for Manitoba driver's licences must meet identity verification standards set out by provincial law. For a list of the most common identity documents used by Driver Education students, please review the Getting Your 5L Driver's Licence brochure to make sure that you bring the correct documents when you visit your Autopac agent.
