Deductibles > What is a Deductible?

A deductible is the portion of your claim that is not insured under your policy. We're responsible for the amount over your deductible (up to your policy limit, in most cases $50,000). You automatically get a $500 deductible with most private passenger vehicles, unless you choose to purchase a lower deductible.
