Under close supervision, performs routine, repetitive clerical work while gaining familiarization with the functions of the department.

Clerk II Receiver
Work Location: Winnipeg
Under supervision, tracks location of vehicles in the Holding
Compound. Receives and inventories all vehicle equipment and contents upon
arriving at the Physical Damage Centre. Provides general information to
customers.

IV
Work Location: Various - Manitoba
With minimum supervision, directs the application
of departmental policy and procedure in the day-to-day activities of
the section. The incumbent performs highly responsible and complex clerical
work of a technical nature. Particular emphasis is placed on the incumbent's
responsibilities for supervision of subordinates, preparation of management
information reports, systems and procedural control and communications
with Corporation personnel and/or the general public where applicable
to the section.

I

Clerk
Typist IV
Work Location: Various - Manitoba
This is highly responsible clerical work
where the employee spends at least 50% of their time on difficult and
complex typing assignments, often composed on their own. The employee
will be responsible for a single unit of work from start to finish, or
will have a great variety of tasks. The employee is expected to plan
their own duties, referring decision on policy or deviation from precedents
to their superior. Will have supervisory responsibilities. Work of this
class differs from that of a Clerk Typist III in that the application
of established procedures requires the making of final and responsible
decisions of a routine nature or in a well-defined field. The employee
is responsible for the supervision of subordinate typists performing
a variety of typing assignments unrelated to their duties. Is responsible
for the setting of typing priorities and the training of subordinate
typists.

Electronic
Media Publisher
Work Location: Winnipeg
Under the direction of the Manager, Business
Practices and Training, the Electronic Media Publisher performs specialized
tasks requiring expertise in web site design and maintenance, developing
multimedia presentations, application testing, online documentation and
desktop publishing. The incumbent is required to work in a fast-paced
environment with inflexible timelines and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Certificates in graphic design or web/multimedia
development from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Experience:
- Two (2) years experience creating and maintaining
web pages.
- Two (2) years demonstrated experience in laying
out and producing on-line/paper documents, using personal computers
and software applications, in an environment where material is
timely, highly complex, highly sensitive, and requires extreme
accuracy.
- Or an equivalent combination of education
and/or experience:
- Special skills and/or requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in applicable
office software, Dreamweaver and hand-coding of web pages with HTML.
- Demonstrated knowledge of typography and page
layout issues.
- Demonstrated knowledge of punctuation, grammar,
and spelling rules.
- Demonstrated skill in word processing, layout,
spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications used in
the department.
- Demonstrated ability and knowledge of various
file types and demonstrated knowledge in transferring data files
across platforms and software applications.
- Demonstrated 50 w.p.m. keyboarding skills.
- Ability to plan, organize and execute production
of large complex documents.
- Ability to draw on practical knowledge and experience
in order to perform new tasks from general instructions.
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to exercise good judgement, and make
informed and objective decisions.
- Must have successfully passed the knowledge
and skill tests.
