Snowmobiling can be a fun activity - if you know how to do it safely.
Safety Services Manitoba's Snowmobile Operator's Training Program emphasizes correct operating procedures and knowledge of snowmobile laws.
Snowmobile courses can be sponsored by local groups, who are responsible for the organization of details such as room location, enrollments and obtaining instructors.
The materials may be purchased from Safety Services Manitoba and include a student manual and examination. A certificate of completion and helmet decal will be sent to all those scoring over 80% in the examination.
The training materials cover classroom presentation only. Student manuals may also be purchased by individuals for home study purposes.
