Left Turns - No Left Turn Light

Making a left turn at an intersection where no left turn light is present is something we're faced with pretty much every time we're behind the wheel. Yet not everyone does it correctly.

The correct way is to pull ahead into the intersection with your wheels straight and your left turn light activated. Doing so will ensure drivers around you are aware of your intentions to turn. Pulling ahead allows you to make the turn promplty when it is safe to do so.

It's not only safer to pull ahead into the intersection, it's also a courtesy to the drivers behind you.
