Classroom > Parent/Guardian Meeting
A parent/guardian meeting is held at the beginning of classroom training to provide parents/guardians with an overview of the Driver Education course, and explain requirements, procedures and expectations. It is mandatory that one parent/guardian or supervising driver attend this meeting.
As a parent/guardian or supervising driver, your involvement is vital to your child’s success in the program. Road Safety research shows that effective parental involvement and supervision decreases the chances of a novice driver’s involvement in a collision.

You will also receive some helpful resources to assist you teach your child to drive, including a Novice Driver Sign, the Home-based Practice Log and the Co-Pilot’s Manual.
You will have the opportunity to meet the in-car instructor who will take your child on the road for behind-the-wheel training.
