Welcome to Manitoba Public Insurance’s High School Driver Ed Program.
The Corporation is pleased to offer this program, which enables high school students to obtain professional, quality driver training. This course provides excellent value because it gives students a thorough knowledge of traffic rules and regulations, and practical experience and skills that help them develop good driving habits.
The High School Driver Education Program enrolment fee is $50 which is among the lowest in Canada. And now that fee includes a free copy of the Driver’s Handbook. The student fee pays for approximately one-quarter of the cost of delivering the program, with the balance contributed by Manitoba Public Insurance.
To enroll a parent or guardian will need to sign a Registration Form and provide a cheque or money order payable to Manitoba Public Insurance. The Registration form can be obtained by contacting your child’s high school or the Road Safety department at 985-7199 or toll free at 1-800-261-9928.
