Classroom > In-Class Training
The Classroom curriculum consists of 34 hours of instruction, covering the following topics:

| Preparing to Drive | Planning a Trip |
| Knowing your Vehicle | Novice Drivers |
| Basic Maneuvers | Choices and Consequences |
| Maneuvering Skills | Emergency Situations |
| Defensive Driving | Becoming Part of the Solution |
| Maintaining Safe Space | Vehicles Systems |
Students are required to achieve a minimum 70% classroom average to successfully complete the in-class portion of Driver Education. This average is derived from the following:
Students are required to satisfactorily complete all classroom tests, projects and assignments.
Class 5 Learner’s Licence Written Test
Students have one opportunity to write the Class 5 Learner’s Licence test in their Driver Education classroom.
