Role of the Estimator
An estimator is the Manitoba Public Insurance representative who identifies the damage to your vehicle and determines what repairs it needs. This information is used to prepare a repair estimate.
Our estimators examine your vehicle and record all the damage into a state-of-the-art computer. In turn, the computer calculates parts prices, replacement labour and overall cost. Then, it prints an estimate for you.
The computer is only as accurate as the information that's fed into it. Our estimators are all qualified autobody professionals. When they examine your vehicle, they know exactly what to look for to make sure the computer gets the correct information.
