Which document is right for me?

Manitoba Public Insurance is now offering you more licensing and identification options. Enhanced cards allow you to cross the U.S. border by land or water, but they don’t do everything a passport does. If you don’t need an enhanced card for travel purposes, our Manitoba Identification Card is a secure photo identification card that you can use to prove your identity, age and Manitoba residency.

The card or document you pick depends on your needs. This chart will help you choose the one that’s right for you.
